Size
Hi,
I have been working on my site http://www.chatfootballforum.com/ for a while now and everything fits perfect at 100% size. Anyway... I have just logged on at my gf's house (albeit she has a smaller screen) but the width is miles out! Now the actual forum seems ok but the logo is huge, on the "A" of the "football" is where the forum width ends on this pc but on mine its ok and I dont want to adjust it because then it will go out of shape on mine. Is there a simple method to this that im missing? Cheers |

You always want your forum logo to be smaller than the width of the forum. Even if you have a fluidic style and it resizes to 100% at any resolution, you need to cater for the people who use small screens too. Probably a width of about 800-1000px would be fine. Your banner is 1210px.

Keep your banner width to about a maximum of 750, and I think you will be safe. 700 will no doubt keep you 100% in the safe zone though.

I have changed it now guys so thanks.
Doesnt look as good on my screen now (I dont think) looks all out of line? But as long as its better for everyone else (without scrolling right for ages) then I dont mind. What does it look like for you? |
