Default "New Posts" Question

When we originally set up our board the "New Posts" listing would be shown in bold, when you visited the thread the bolding would change to normal. Now, when the thread is visited it disappears from the list. Any help on how we can get it back to the original settings? We have not knowingly changed any setting in the thread display area of the ACP.

Thanks in advance.

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Thread/Forum Read Marking Type -> Click to "Inactivity/Cookie Based" and save.

Won't that give me a setting where once the user either times out or signs off all the Threads are marked "read" and won't re-appear in the "New Posts" listing the next time they sign on?

If you don't want that, then choose not auto marking option.

I've used that setting, and threads disappear from the listing once they are read. It's strange, I know I'm not imagining the old appearance as several members of the forum have commented on it and asked for it back. Maybe I'm not stating in correctly. Originally you would be presented with a list of "New Posts." Any you hadn't read were bold, once you visited the thread it became "un"bold and remained on the list. If you signed off and signed back on the list was still current.
