I want to get a channel at efnet, how do I register a channel there? I looked on their site but it was very confusing.

Does anyone actually know how to host my own irc server on my personal server? I heard you have to buy a SHELL, any more information please? I have a linux server.

You cannot register channels on efnet. It has no services.

I _believe_ dal.net lets you reg channels still, but it's been ages since I've used IRC.
