any way to ban a subdomain?
I have some idiots that keep registering on my site after I ban them, but since they are on a internet connection that gives them a different IP address each time, it is hard to block them all... The IP addresses are different enough that I can't block a big enough range to get them all without affecting legit users..
BUT, they all resolve to something like blah.blah.aa.bb.net Is there a way to block all that have aa.bb.net as the subdomain? I don't care if they read the board or not, I just want to block the registration. |

There is NO way to stopped user(s) from re-registering.
It's hard to do it on AOL. It's hard to do it on proxy website. |

Due to the fact that so many people are on ISPs which use Dynamic IPs, and the fact that proxy servers are so readily available, there really is no way to stop a problematic user re-registering without potentially denying access to geniune users as well. Tachy goes to coventry is a great idea, paired with Miserable users it's even better. Hopefully that user will eventually assume your site is just constantly playing up, get bored and leave. Even if they don't they still won't be able to bother anyone much. |

Indeed, the miserable hack is a good one. However, is it up to date? I haven't check that modification for quite some time. xD

I actually blocked the subdomain via .httaccess. I know they can use proxy to get around it, but most of my users are not that smart
