When a new member applies to our Board they are required to respond to the email to activate their account. For some reason, quite a number of new applicants overlook this step and try to use the Board anyway. They get a default message saying that they have been banned forever. Is there a way to change this message to something not quite so harsh? I'm sure I've lost potential members as a result of receiving this message. Thanks!

This i think can be done via your admin cp by going to :
Languages & Phrases then to search in phrases type in the text that they recieve ( doesn't need to be exact) the when it has found them chose one to edit then just type in the edit box the text you would like them to recieve and click the save button and it should be done ![]() Hope It Help's |

It also looks like you have the "Users awaiting e-mail Confirmation" usergroup banned. You could change this usergroup's permission to have their access denied on the forum instead of having them just banned
