Is there a way to do this?

I want to use the Upcoming Events mod. In this mod whenever an event is created, a thread in an events forum is also created. I want these threads to show in my main forum alongside all the other threads.

Is this possible?

You should ask in the modification thread, you will probably get a better answer there.
