Skin install question - setting defaults

I have installed several skins am am able to view them using '?styleid=x', but I don't see how to change the default.

I have tried leaving all other skins unchecked except the skin I want to use, but it still reverts to the vBulletin default when I access my forum without the styleid=.

I know there must be something easy I'm overlooking, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
