Is their a way to make my forum my homepage w/out uninstalling cmps?
Hey guys,
Thanks for reading my post. I would just like to know if their is a way I can make my forum my homepage without uninstalling my vbadvance cmps. Can someone post a tutorial if its possible? Thanks again very much. |

There are two ways to do this:
1. You can change the settings in each program for what the main page should be called, one is in the vb admincp & the other is in the cmps admin, have vbulletin and server as index.php instead of forums.php & in cmps, you can rename the index.php its currently using to portal.php. 2. If you have a dedicated or vps, you can have apache/iss answer for forums.php first ahead of index.php. 3. Also note that your forum is running from the /forums/ directory and not the public_html directory. Sorry not how-to, but that will point you in the right direction. |
