Graveyard suggestions
I know the policy, but its far from perfect. I would like to suggest some changes:
When a mod is moved to the graveyard, all the files are deleted, I've had several "nightmares" trying to uninstall those hacks from my boards because the zip I downloaded was lost or I accidentally deleted it. It would be really handy if the installation instructions where left in the thread that was moved to the graveyard, so we KNOW HOW TO UNINSTALL IT, it would also be really handy to know the reasons why it was moved to that section. vb.org for being an "official" vbulletin forum it lacks some really important methods that other sites already use, I dont ask to copy them into this site, just to be logical and try to help the license holder so he can uninstall that vulnerable hack and allow them to know why it was removed. If it was for a security hole or if it was because the author requested to be removed. That should be all. Sorry for this long message but today I came to vb.org to update some of my installed hacks and 7 of them were moved to the graveyard and now I am blind on how to uninstall them. Thanks, Jack |

Most mods don't actually have uninstall instructions, and for those that have install instructions, they are mostly part of the zip file and we just don't have the time to start scanning every mod we move to the GY to see if we can separate out those instructions.
For the same reason, we don't post why every mod has been moved in the first place, but the vast majority are by author request. |

Why was the highslide mod moved to the graveyard? I'd like to keep it, unless there is a vulnerability.

Mini2 removed the files.
