Goldbrick Media system for vBulletin 3.6.x
Thanks to all who nominated or voted this for MOTM.
Some of you might be looking for Anymedia. Well this has replaced it. It's a total rewrite from the ground up. A huge thanks goes to Sir Adrian for creating the framework. He can't cook soup but he sure can code.
Why the name goldbrck?
From Wikipedia:
Quote:
Goldbricking, in today's terms, generally refers to staff who use their work internet access for personal reasons while maintaining the appearance of working.
From Urban Dictionary:
Quote:
Goldbricking: To loaf or goof around on the job. Supposedly an old union term describing laborers (or more specifically, bricklayers) who were going so slow, it was as if each brick were made of solid gold. One can alse be referred to as a "goldbricker".
Dude, I spent all day at work goldbricking - surfing the web, making long distance phone calls - basically just picking my ass.
Goldbrick uses the following third party Products:

i can't get goldbrick to work with attached mp3 files.
just to make sure this is like a new version of anymedia? so it should work by itself or needs anymedia to be installed?
If not, i have installed everything, but the M sign has not appeared in the posting box.
I have added the image to the default skin folder and my custom folder.
Do i have to add the BBcode in separately?
I am a bit confused, as i had not problem instaling this on a friends board before the goldbrick update.
The anymedia mod is not needed. I just left it there if someone wants it.
The M button is no longer needed. Just past the link to the media and the Goldbrick will take over. If you need options you'll see Goldbrick Options under attachments.
I'm moving right now so after I'm done I'll right a how to for Goldbrick.

Well maybe it would have been better to complete the job before sticking on here because it's just completely cocked my site up and now all the forums have gone down.
I'll wait until somebody comes up with something better or do it myself once I've sorted my own site out.
(and by the way.......yes I know how to install it. My site is full of parse errors now)

well I did get that in lol you have to put it in through the admin that was the only way I got it to show. You have to go into the BB Code Manager then add it there but mine still will not show the player and I have no clue why.
