one account for two forums
Hello there
I have two vB forums (3.5.x) on two sites, with separate licences. What I want to do is that people who register on one site can access another site with the same username/password. Is this possible to make? Member xy register on site1 and is able to login to site2 with the same username/pass. Member yx register on site2 and is able to login to site1 with the same username/pass. Thanks. |

well, I'm certainly no expert, and I am sure that if I can think of this, so could you, but I'm thinking it has something to do with where ever the members login info and passwords and things are saved on your server. Simply make a parallel (im just making up words now lol) login storage system.... Just kinda an outline of my thoughts.

There's a mod for this now. I saw it yesterday, but didn't take note of the name. (sorry)
