Prevent forum from showing in new threads?

Well I have a similar request before which seems to do the trick, simply add

Code:

&exclude={forumid}

to the New Posts and Get Daily

Example Link for New Posts

Code:

http://www.example.com/forum/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=1

You can add multiple forumid's simply by separating them by a Comma. Not sure if that will be suitable for you but thats the only suggestion I have for you. Hope that helps
