You miss the point of this post entirely and I don't readily appreciate your smartalecky, snobbish commentary.

Hmmm - well it sure doesn't sound like my sharing was appreciated at all...
At anyrate - Like I say - It's simple to not post any additional graphics at all - not even my own creations that I would share with the Community - because it's quite clear to me that it wouldn't be appreciated anyway - except for a handful of people.

What I posted - little clips from OLD OLD OLD OLD artworks - And a couple avatars with text that reads CHANEL or LOUIS VUITTON ..... I'd dare submit that the vB.org Admins are taking the "copyright" policy a little to strictly - and it's a pity.... I mean - What are you gonna do? Send out a memo to all 215,873 vB.org Members, asking them to take down their avatars (unless their own creation of course) because they have no permission to use the images... Can you not see how ABSURD that is?

I dare say - a small copy of Michelangelo's Statue of David or DaVinci's Mona Lisa is not currently under any type of copyright... It's like walking into all shops that have and sell prints (also known as picture copies) of such artistic works and telling them to stop selling, as they're breaking copyright policy... And the thing is - I as a published Writer & Poet certainly do understand how the copyright of any particular intellectual work works... In fact - As a publisher as well - I've written some copyright policies of my own. By taking down my little share of avatars - You've taken your policy a little too.................................far IMO - You've become the Anal Avatar Swiper Police LOL
