Everyday after around 4AM, all javascript on my forum stops working. Links that give popups dont work, and neither do any of the other javascripts. My forum is heavily hacked with over 60 hacks (only a few modify core files, most are template hacks). Last night as a test, i completely disabled the plugin system while javascript was still working. Today, javascript broke again. When it breaks, the only way i can get it to work again is by disabling and reenabling the plugin system (or emptying the datastore). The problem itself looks like template problems, as im using "Plugin Based Template Cache" plugin which isint causing any problems itself, but makes it easier to get rid of the problems.

Any idea's why its doing this? I'm going to update my vb soon and i dont want this problem to occur in the new version.

Have you checked your scheduled tasks to see anything that might be running around those times?

Also, keep in mind vbulletin works by itself, however, hacks themselves make appear to work fine but at times may conflict with one another - you may have to try disabling them one at a time - around 4AM if that is when specifically that it stops working. I had a similar issue on one of my boards and it was a hack that was installed that conflicted with another.

Last night i completely disabled the plugin system (every single plugin was disabled). Oddly, the scheduled task list was empty. Nothing ran. Yet the problem still occurs.

I'm still suffering from this problem. The really odd thing is - when i upgraded my board to the latest version of VB (replacing all files), it still occured also as a test i tried installing a new style with no modifications done to it and the javascript broke there too. I'm almost at the point of pulling my hair out. I dont know what to do.

I've been trying to create a php script that switches on and off the "Plugin based template cache" plugin, but so far everything ive tried doesnt work. Any idea's how i can do this?
