Are you in the config.php?
The database name and the username and password to it |

What Shazz is not saying is that when you run the vb install scripts it creates and populates the database for you. All you have to decide (within config.php) is the name of the database, the user name and password, and whether the tables in the database will be prefixed with some term (like "vb_" so the tables will be named vb_post rather than just "post"

The install script does not create a database!
