You could go into there profiles and change it there that would probably be the easiest go to Users Profile click on user options and than in the drop down window on the right side on top make sure they are set there as you want them to be

I'm not ignoring you I am just seeing how I set it up I have a forgetful thinker
--------------- Added [DATE]1194139910[/DATE] at [TIME]1194139910[/TIME] --------------- I think that it should work once the email is set up unless you have disallowed it. I think that you go into admincp>usergroups>usergroups waiting confermation and scroll down and there is a place that says this Can Post Threads Yes No I have mine set on no because I want to authorize them to be able to post. |

Vbulletin, registered users unable to post
My registered users are receiving the e-mail confirmation but when they confirm their e-mail, they are still not able to post, they receive the following error:
[you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. ] See screenshot: Attachment 71917 I checked my admin page, forums permission is fine but found that several are showing on that these users are still waiting on email confirmation but they already confirmed their email address. See screenshot Attachment 71918 can anyone help? Thanks! |

Thanks for the tip, users can post now .......but the problem is that .... they are still showing as pending on "email confirmation". I was able to duplicate the problem ......Registered an account and clicked on the e-mail confirmation link received from the system but the status did not change: Seems they are stuck and their permission did not change so they can be amoung the "registred users".
