Integration with vBulletin - Zoints Thread Tags - GREAT for SEO

The Zoints Thread Tags System will improve forum side search, SEO, and traffic for forums that choose to utilize it. And in my opinion, it's just plain cool

When a member creates a new thread, they can now input a series of "tags". Tags are simply keywords that describe the thread.



If you then go to your-forum.com/tags you will be presented with what is called a "tag cloud". The more times a tag is used, the larger the text grows. As you can see, the tags are also searchable.



Clicking on one of the tags in the cloud then lists all of the threads that are tagged with that particular keyword. The default option lists tags in a forumdisplay format. There is an option in the admincp to use a simple format.



Clicking on the thread title of one of the above threads then takes you to the thread. If you have the option on, the tags the thread are tagged with are also listed above the thread. Clicking one of those tags takes you to all the threads on the forum tagged with the same tag. Search engine spiders are going to have a field day with this



The thread starter and moderation staff have a slightly different view which allows for administration of tags:



The forum's tags are also searchable via the search dropdown. The advanced search option allows for a variety of additional criteria to be seached for. Your members create a whole new (and highly efficient) forum search engine!



If you have the option on in the admincp and register your forum, once every hour, your tagged threads in publically viewable forums are linked via the corresponding interest tag on the Zoints Forum Network. For example, if you go to http://zoints.com/tag/children you will see what is pictured below. Not only is this a great relevant inbound link for SEO, but you will get traffic from Zoints direct to these threads!

Btracker doesnt look as good as Zoints for Vb to me, author doesnt use vB on its own page, demo really slow, blank page while clicking demo tags .. I bet Zoints is far much stable for vB.

Likely, it will be some time on that if you want the honest answer. But like I mentioned in the past to you, the engineers do want to solve that issue so more can use and enjoy the product, so hopefully when it is done we can get your feedback on if the solution worked.

If you ever have difficulties with a product, opening up a ticket from us will usually get a response within a few hours (if made during the daytime during the states), and often times much quicker.

That was actually the product I was thinking of (from the forum that I couldn't remember) and to my knowledge, the only one like it's kind.

How can I deactivate the automated template edits, there is no option in admincp?
I need to do this to prevent a conflict with the template cache system.

I Found a Bug In The Hack and I Don't Know Why Is happening (Almost Don't Have a Logic)!!

I Made The Manual Template Edits.

I Deactivated the Plugin (Zoints Thread Tags (automatic template edits)), as Instructed in the Manual, because I prefer Manual Template Edits.

When I did That Most of the Tag Edit Don't Show, Like the Tag Link on the Navbar, and the Search Tags in the Search Dropdown Menu, but some Show like the List of Tags on the Threads and the Popular Tags on the Thread List.

I don't Know Why That Happens, is like if one of the Plugins when the Automatic Template Edits Plugin is Deactidated Avoids the Display of the Code.

And When the Plugin (Zoints Thread Tags (automatic template edits)) is Activated, then Most of the Hack Features are Displayed Twice (logical, I made the Template Edits), but I prefer to have the Manual Choice to Edit the Templates (I prefer the Tag Link in the "Quick Links" Dropdown Menu), and other Things, so I'm having the Trouble I Mentioned Above.

I Hope You Can Tell me What's Wrong; I Think is a Bug in one or more of the Plugins that Condition the Display of the Code to the Active Condition of the Plugin "Zoints Thread Tags (automatic template edits)"!!
