You just want to export the forum/subforum structure and hierarchy? If you have a test board set up, try just importing the forum table. After that, go to the maintenance section of the control panel and rebuild everything. It might work, but then again you might have messed up permissions or something, and the datastore would have to be rebuilt as well. Give it a try and see what happens
