There's the vBCredits forum money mod, and then there's actually a provision from real world exchange of credits in another mod he's making called vBCredit$ or something which allows you to buy them through Paypal or the like. You can then set the other values to zero, and possibly with a mod set it so you cannot post in a certain forum/forums without at least 1 credit.
