Version 3.0 was created for both vb3.6 and vb3.7. I will no longer give support in this thread for this hack. Please click 'install' in the vb3.7 section for notifications about updates.
Same happened to me after the update, you have to edit your administrator permissions (Admincp > Usergroups > Administrator Permissions > Edit Permissions> Can Log in as Another User = yes) in order to be able to see the option.
Hey Abe1
Great Mod.
I'm having a problem with the ACP not showing the link. Any ideas?
Just to clarify, I just upgraded to 2.4 and I'm running 3.6.4
-PB
You have to give your self permission. Look 2 posts up for the exact way.
Same here. Was running 2.1 which worked fine for me. vBulletin 3.68. Upgraded to 2.4 - no log-in links anywhere. Reverted back to 2.1. Working fine again.
It seems whatever you did between 2.1 and 2.4 broke it.
Actually, you dont know how to read is more like it. A few post up from when you guys made a post said exactly how to do it. In my release info it says it mildly.
You guys asked me for a way to control who can use it, I gave it to you and seem like you dont even know how to use the vB back end.
One thing I just noticed, if logged in as another member, it appears under "Currently Active Users", but does not appear under "Total members that have visited the forum in the last 24 hours: 24". Anyway to make it so it will appear there too?
No-one else sees you logged in. It is just the way vb works. it puts your username at the beg. of the list. If you look at the user after you log-out, you will see that they had not just logged in.

Thank you. In my defense, (1) the post that explained where to set the permissions came after my post; (2) the instructions included in the zip file make no mention of the settings; and (3) I expected to find options under Admin CP | vBulletin options as is customary.
You are correct. Once the permissions are set, it works as it did in previous versions.
You might want to update the instructions included in the zip file (the filename is mispelled as "insructions.txt" by the way).
it was working fine b4 but now it all of a sudden doesnt work anymore. when im viewing the profile page it doesnt have the log in as user button. this mod sucks
