Default How can I get my forum catorgries to split like http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/

How can I get my forum catorgries to split like https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/ ? You see all the catorgrie separated out? Especially the Forums Section and the Mods section ......How can I do that with mine instead of having them all listed as one?

I would like to have a separate section, such as "MODS" on vbulletin.org ????
please help!

hmmmmm, i cant seem to find the answer there too

i looked up "category separate"
but all i see is how to put spaces in between forum thread categories, i will look more tho..... perhaps i will eventually find,

if someone else has a direct thread, it would be appreciated

I looked through the first ~15 pages of threads in this forum and that was the first thread title that caught my eye. I know it's been asked more than a few times recently though. Like you, I had trouble using the search function as the search terms I was using were just too broad. That and people use either vBulletin, vBulletin.org, vb.org, or vborg, all to say the same thing which expands the number of search hits.

Searching on vBulletin.com with "space between categories" (without the quotes) would find this Thread:

How To Put A Space Between Each Forum Category

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156783

Regards,

Oh! I thought what was meant about seperating them was the tabs at the top.

uhmmmm, but im not exactly trying to put a space between categories
im trying to split categories NOT add a space between categories for visual purposes

the difference between https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/ (notice you cannot see any of the MOD categories or any of its subcategories)

and https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=198 which is the MODS category with all the various mod threads and subcategories

So you are asking how to split it like what the tabs at the top of the page do.

From the responses that I've read (still can't find the relevant threads other than the one I posted) you basically create the new forums, set their display order to 0, then create links to them from your main forum page. They won't display on the main forum page since their display order is zero but if a user is directed right to them, via the links, then they will show with their sub forums.
