Thread Prefixes
Version: 1.6.2 vBulletin Version: 3.6.10 Developer: Michael (Mystics) Koenig (www.vbulletin-germany.com) Modification-Language: English & German & French (thanks to ReadWrite - Note: Readme has not yet been translated to french.) Install-difficulty: Medium File-edits: 5 Template-edits: 10 Brief Description of the Modification This modification allows your users to choose a thread prefix for each thread. To do this you are able to select an appropriate prefix from a list beside the title while posting a new thread - for example 'Help', 'Problem', 'Search' etc. This prefix will be displayed in front of the thread title. The result will be for example: Problem - I can't find this setting Problem is the thread prefix, I can't find this setting is the title of the thread. The prefixes displayed in this list may be defined by a moderator for each of his moderated forums (Forum Tools -> Manage Thread Prefixes); of course an administrator and a super moderator is allowed to do this for every forum. Hi there,
I use the Event Forums Hack to create Threads assigned to the Calender. When i create a new Thread there´s no ability to choise one of the Präfixes. Is there a way to do it with a Template Edit? Best regards |

Anyone? I could really use some help here. I also was wondering if there was any way to exclude the prefixes from external.php.

If i'm not mistaken, the prefixes in the external.php field might come from modifications done to class_dm_threadpost.php
Might want to take a look. To completely remove the mod, revert all the template changes and all the modified files. |

Dunno if this has been dealt with but I've installed this now and I noticed two things....
Quick Reply When you do this it says: "The following errors occurred when this message was submitted" But no error has occured. If you click to submit again it tells you that you have already posted that message. So i refresh and see that it's there. Why is there a supposed error and post not seen without manual refresh? Deleting I just deleted two threads and noticed something come up when I did. I've just gone to create a new thread to get the message but had the below issue. Checked and it's only when deleting from the forumdisplay not thread. I'm guessing due to the post I just added below this regarding it already saying 'Go (2)' Quote:
New Thread I got this when making a new thread: Quote:

Just checking and though that error shows - the topic has been made, just like the post issue.
Also note that on the bottom where you choose to merge, delete multiple threads etc... it says 'Go (2)' on the button without anything selected!!! Now I'm trying removing the thing but after thinking I've completed it I now have the exact same issues!!! HELP! |

make sure that you have edited all the .php files correctly.
Depending on if your using 3.6.8 or not, it may be that, it works perfectly on my 3.6.2, 3.6.4 and 3.6.5 boards perfectly. |

Yeah, I've uploaded all the originals, reverted all the templates and removed the mod so I can start a fresh but I'm still having the 3/4 issues listed! It's really annoying me.
Still got the delete thing, the quick reply thing and new thread thing even tho I uploaded the old php files!! |
