The solution to the SQL error. · **Released**: 07-30-2007

This message is for the folks who are getting the MySQL errors with the games.

This only happens with some games that take a long time to get a high score, such as For breakout and pacman, the error occurs when play the game over the length of when you have your users re login again, due to been "unactive" within the forums. It is infact a cookie problem. And the holdsession.php has no control over this. There has to be away for the arcade to let Vbulletin know that the person is indeed active and playing the arcade. if the arcade platform was independent from the Vbulletin, then this would not happen because it would have it's own cookie logout session.

So I would suggest, having IBProArcade with it's own independant cookie logout session which can be controlled as an option by the user.

So Mr Zeropage, ya have your results and a means to reproduce this error a million times over.

1: This is the time in seconds that a user must remain inactive before their login session expires. This setting also controls how long a user will remain on Who's Online after their last activity.
This is set by default at 3000 seconds, that is 15 minutes. The same time it takes to get very high scores. people playing the arcade can not register their high score, because VB is assuming that they are not active.

if you have v2.6.2+ and uploaded the new "holdsession.php" to your forum's root, it should not timeout anymore

beside that you need to update all skinfiles btw so that holdsession.php is really working within the games...
