World of Warcraft Raid Progression
I'm currently working on two projects that are released and am looking into adding a third. But, before I begin work on this particular project, I wanted to get some feedback from anyone interested in the idea.
First, I'm honestly thinking of using wow model viewer to make the NPC images animated. How it would work would be the following:
So, essentially there will be 3 animations and depending on what you toggle on/off in your raid progression area, that will dictate what animation to present. I'm most likely going to add a template page by itself that houses your default navbar but I'm still up in the air on how I want to present the finished product. Therefore, if you have any ideas/suggestions for this project, now is the time to commit them before I begin work. Thanks, |

I like that idea, although another way i've been thinking of doing it is that bosses we've killed are animated just as if they were standing, bosses we havent are greyed out, although your way does seem a lot better :P

Here's an example of Attumen and his horse in Karazhan both alive and dead. It looks like I can make the movie files under 250kb which is good.
Alive http://praetorianknights.com/movies/attumen1.wmv Dead http://praetorianknights.com/movies/attumen2.wmv I created a backdrop 3d prop with wowmapper and then used model viewer to create my loops, and fraps'd them. Then, I imported into sony vegas studio and key removed the blue backdrops and exported a small loop area. |

Awesome mod, this is just what i need, Hope it goes well.... Some input
The animated pictures is an awesome idea, love it, What would also be nice is a module on the front of the site through CMPS showing the last killed boss, Also would be nice to show details of the first kill only, which says what members of the guild killed it and such, date, time, what loot he dropped. |

Hrmm.. this could be a very nice mod and while I'm not sold on the animated image idea, I am willing to be persuaded. :up:

Do you have any ETA when you could be releasing the first beta virsion of this?, Im extreamly excited about it and really would love to have it.

I just finished work on 1.2.7 for the calendar and will upload that this weekend and then I need to do a few revisions on the recruitment form, then I'm able to work more on this mod. The first beta version won't be released for awhile. It takes a lot of time to get everything up.
