Forum subsciptions?
I tired searching but it's not working, so here goes. I used VBulletin a while ago, and now thinking about using it at work on our Intranet.
But I need to know for sure if this option (mod) can be done. Quote:
Any replies would be great. I need to decide on Wednesday if Vbulletin will allow me to do this. I've worked with VB before, but it's been a while and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty modding some snippets of code to get this working, if there isn?t one already. Regards Louis |

there is actually 2 or 3 hacks that can handle per-forum basis subscriptions in the best possible ways, like daily/instant alerts...
if they don't answer your specific need, i'm sure someone will be available if you call for a "Modification Not Available?" |

To add (in the meantime), a manual way to do it is to add the email address directly to the forum in the AdminCP so that when a thread (or post) is posted/created - they automatically receive a notification. Of course, it is up to the administrator to take care of this. Not exactly an easy option as it requires updates and work, but a temporary workaround nonetheless.
