Many users of my boards are at the places of work. The tricky d!cky IT people ban the domain from being allowed.

What I want to know is, if I have a separate domain, can I run one instance of my boards on two different domains?

You can run 1 Test board and one production board on one domain - IP

Yes, you may have several domains forwarding to a single instance of a vB forum installation.

Yes you can forward the domains to the domain that your VB is running on
