I was wanting a mod that will say "error can't use an email as a username" or something like this, I am just tired of going into the account and editing and this would allow me to take more time to help my members. Can someone whip this up? I would think it would be quick and easy? Of course if needed this would happen to new registers that sign up.

Simply restrict the use of @ in usernames, via;

Admin CP > vBulletin Options > Registration
