How can I do this?
I couldn't think of a good title for the thread lol. It's hard to explain.
Take a look at this skin: http://www.forumthemes.com/forums/?styleid=19 (it should be "Caprice", if not, change it at the bottom). I want to make have a little "About Us" section and "Recent News" (like in a portal) on the main page. So I want the sidebar and everything to stay the same, I just want the recent news, etc, where the forums are. And then you could click on "Forums" in the nav bar to see the forums. I guess I could use vBadvanced for that...but then there would be too many columns. Unless I could disable all columns in vBadvanced except the middle one with the content. |

Would the vBadvanced thing work? What if I used vBadvanced and got rid of the left and right columns? Then all that would be left would be the center with the Recent News, etc, and I would use the side column that comes with the skin.

How would you be able to put vbadvanced in your forumhome side bar? I am confused. Could you help explaining a bit more, and how you plan to do it? etc..
I will be thankful. |
