vBulletin HTML version to vBulletin PHP version?
Hey a guy that owns a license hired me to do one of our themes and he has the HTML version and now wants to change it to the php version he just purchased from you. Has Anyone ever done a conversion or fresh install and is it even possible to do. I'll naturally fully backup the domain for sure but I'm concerned about loss of links among other things. ~ Jared |

If you mean that he downloaded the .html version of vBulletin and now wants to switch to the .php version, then that is not so simple.

Yes, been running HTML version until I suggested it be PHP from the start. So now a change is in order to convert it to the same 3.6.5 version just different code base (ie html vs php).

Please post on vb.com about this. It is not an easy change as the file extension (.php/.html) is also stored in phrases, settings, etc.... upon initial installation.
