referral id problem
I could have sworn at one time, it worked. Now one of my user's said his wasn't working for months. So I've finally looked into it, clicked on his referral link, got to the forum rules and clicked agree... then I look down and the referral box is empty. SO I continue to make a test screen name and then goto look and see if he got the referral and he didn't. Also another thing I've noticed is that in the register template, I have to take out "<if condition="$show['referrer']">" because if I keep it in, the referrer box is no longer viewable.. I don't know what could be the problem.. I've globally disabled all hacks and still doesn't work. I've tried to use his referral link on different skins thinking it might be the skin I'm using and no go.... I'm out of ideas, any ideas?

Check:
AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> User Registration Options -> User Referrer: Yes |

haha that was the first thing I checked. I might have edited the register.php even though I'm not sure why I would (if I did)... but could it be that? Anymore ideas would be nice.
:stumped: EDIT: Tried reverting the register template and re-uploading the register.php and still no luck. Referral ID is set to YES. |
