URL description
On our old phpbb board we had a hack where we could enter the description of the link that we posted.
Example www.google.com/blah/kkk/lls... and you can have the text show "Click here for a good time" or something like that Is there something like this for vBulletin? I thought I saw on a vB board where it does it automatically when you enter the link? |

You mean like this?
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=82799 I am not sure if that is what you mean, or what version you are running, that is for 3.5 |

No that doesn't look like what I was thinking about.
What I mean is like the link to the hack you posted https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=82799 I think I have seen on a vB site where it automatically gives you the description of the link (like the link would show "Thread Description v1.2" instead of the actual url https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=82799. Does that make sense? |
