Is there a way to show an icon on my "forum navigation list" when there are new posts in that forum. Look at the attached picture to see what I mean.

You should ask the author of the modification you're using. Usually it would be:

<if condition="$forum[statusicon] == 'new'"><img src="newicon.jpg" /></if>

but if it's not in the forumbit template I don't see why that would work. Could try it, I guess.

Its not much of a mod, more like a template edit and I made it myself. Its placed in the header and footer template
