are the bg's transparent or do i have to make a request for a specific color Shelley? id like to use these asap

Yes, The main pack and the 3 addon packs include a black matted background just not here. I don't support anything here anymore so you may want to glance at my signature.

Transparency wasn't a viable option because there's anti-aliasing included on these smilies so the edging would have appeared rough and I couldn't have used .png because a vast majority in this series contains animations.

Like I stated above I don't support my products here but I thought i would give you the headsup so your not endlessly waiting for a reply.
