Mini Mods - TXRN Radio BB Code

CURRENTLY ONLY WORKS CORRECTLY FIREFOX. INTERNET EXPLORER DOES NOT DISPLAY BACKGROUND COLOR CORRECTLY.

OTHER THAN BACKGROUND COLOR, CODE WORKS FINE IN INTERNET EXPLORER.



COUNTRY AND TOP 40 HAVE BEEN REMOVED FOR LACK OF INTREST IN THOSE GENRES.

Before I begin, I want it known that I will NEVER put a link to my site into the included pages used in this BB Code.

Your members will never see a link other than the link to the popup player which can be hidden with java script if you wish. I may add this in a later update.

This is BB Code that can be used in member signatures or in forums posts with popup webplayer listen links.

Current song titles update automatically using <IFRAME> every 60 seconds without refreshing your entire page. So to my knowledge, song updates will not perform any queries on your board.

Music genres include:

There are two versions for each genre. One for dark colored themes and one for light colored themes.

This code is known to work on VB-3.6.4 and VB-3.0.7

Found a problem with IE not changing the background colors. Firefox shows background to what ever the VB theme is. IE does not. Working on fixing this.

Once the fix is found, it will automatically update on all installs since the actual php pages exist on my server.

why not intigrate it with vbshoutcast?

was interested in this but wanted to add to links so members could just click on the link on our home page to listen and still view the forum.
we tried but kept opening another window, is there a way it can be added to a button so it only opens the same window as in the bb code

I believe VBShoutcast only supports one station.

However, if your using VB Radio, you can add these stations.

Rock - txrn.net:8000
Country - txrn.net:8020
Top 40 - txrn.net:8030

This is setup to open in a new window so that it doesn't take away from your board. It allows your members to listen to radio without it being interupted while browsing your forum... PM me and I can give you the direct links so that you can add them to your links.

Another option, if you like the stations is to install VB Radio and include these stations using the addresses listed above.
