PHP Integration advice? [login/user profiles]
Hiya all,
I hope someone can hopefully spare a moment to give an answer to a few questions before I manually try to integrate my website with the vBulletin - when there could possibly be a more efficient/better long-term solution to what I am intending to do. I have tried to search for a concise answer, but it does seem that a lot of answers I saw are based around modifications and popular CMS. Is there a user class that I could associate with the custom code (PHP) to allow me to call a user operation? Such operations as Add or Modify user? And the same question for login commands - ideally I would like to disable the user registration on the forum, the website would therefore create a forum account and website account in one go. I have a good understanding of PHP and MySQL and have done manual syndication before with VBulletin and PHPBB - but this is a little more in depth and would ideally like to go about it in the right manner. Thanks in advance for any replies. Cheers, Beza |
