Converting from phpfox over to vbulletin
Hey all!
phpfox is something that I want to be RID of for my site. I want to convert over to vbulletin. I wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction or indeed offer a few moments of help for me to just move my users and forum posts from phpfox over to a fresh clean install of vbulletin. To repeat, I want to MOVE my users and their posts FROM phpfox database over to the fresh new vbulletin database. If anyone can help PLEASE let me know as I am desperate. My hope is that it will just be about moving some sql code around and importing the updated database to the fresh vbulletin install. Looking forward to replies David |

I just took a look at vBulletin's impex (their import software) and don't see phpFox listed. You may want to request they code one at vBulletin.com. Otherwise, you'll need to hire someone to write it which probably won't come cheap.

I found the attached script via some old threads about phpfox... would anyone be able to help me tweak it so I can just enter the 2 sets of database details and have it perform the import?

Still not been able to do this I am desperate to bring everyone over to vbulletin on my site at kartingextra.com but without an import routine I can't
Who should I contact about getting an import put into impex? Anyone particular or any particular request forum etc? |

You could try posting a request at vb.com: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=92

Been told there is no official one and that I should ask over here. Any clues?
