Ok, let me explain so that I can clarify before anyone points me to the "You Tube" and "Google Video" scripts.

I am looking to find a simple video script to allow the admin to upload videos to our site. The directory could be called /videos/ off the root folder. The embedded Windows Media player would sit on the videos.php page, and its playlist would search the /videos/ folder for the title of the videos.

Has anyone else been looking for this? The users or members are not able to upload videos, merely browse them.

The page layout would be as simple as the FAQ.php page included with VB. No real search element at all, merely a drop down list with the names of the videos.

It really is that simple, merely wanting to embed the video player from windows media into the forum look. And the code could merely look in a folder.

Any ideas guys? I just was trying to find the WMV format only, and not other video hosting solutions. This would be amazing for a wide array of users for teaching, presentations, and more.

Does such a thing exist already? I searched, but no luck.

I guess no one knows how to do this.

There is a hack that will allow certain user groups post HTML. From there you can embed the video's using HTML wherever you want in the forum.
