Providing Member Feedback
We have seen a lot of threads posted lately dealing with disputes between members.
Often these threads turn into endless yes/no games, slander or accusations that can never be verified. Although we recognize the need of some members to make their experience public and the need to provide a warning to others, we can no longer allow this type of threads as they can not be verified and they disrupt the harmony on the board. So what should you do? We strongly recommend posting a follow up if you have posted a Service Request. Simply provide a follow up post with the name of the member who took the request, and if you where satisfied with the result. Please do so if you had a positive or a negative experience. - New threads with the sole purpose of praise or providing feedback whether positive or negative are not allowed - your feedback must be posted in the original paid request you used to hire said person the feedback is in regards to. New threads made in this manner will be deleted therefor we kindly ask you provide feedback in your original paid request. - Long or slanderous posts as a response to the Service Request will also not be allowed, so keep the feedback short and to the point please. (We no longer post responses from the person who took the job.) Staff Edit: Using words or suggestive language such as scammed is not allowed; Nor will the allowance of "blackmail" type posts be allowed where members post feedback or edit a paid request to state something in an effort to shame someone into finishing work - we care not your justification we simply don't allow it. Marco meant that; you should leave short and simple feedback such as this: Negative Examples:
Positive Examples:
Feedback that is short and simple is the only thing allowed whether it be positive or negative. Why? Staff members here do not know who to side with or who is telling more "truth" and that is a prime example of why we only allow short and simple feedback, you're not telling a "tall tale" nor are you the robot from lost in space saying "Danger Will Robinson, Danger!" no matter who you think is more justified in their actions - its your point of view on the situation and another example of why we can't side with anyone in particular. When you leave feedback, you're making it so the next person can see a short and easy to understand statement in an effort to help them form their own opinion whether or not to hire a person who either kept their word or let you down, its that simple. Anything other than short, simple, and proper will be deleted and no notification will be given. |
