Hi. We have your vbulletin, located at www.westwoodvelo.com. We are offering members the ability to have a "Diary" so they can create their own personal diary/blog of their training and riding.
As it stands righ tnow, we have a Forum which acts as a category "RIDER DIARIES" and then sub-(child) forums for each person who wants a diary?ie. "Greg Keller Diary". How can we permission the sub/child forums so only a particular user (or admin/moderator) can create threads and posts within that Child Forum? In the above exmaple, only Gregg Keller should be able to create a daily thread, or post, or reply to his own posts. We don?t want other hijacking his thread. Only he/Gregg should be able to post in his child forum. As it stands right now, we basically made all the Diary writers a moderator and gave moderators the permission to post and reply on the thread, but only on threads THEY create. This isnt exactly great sicne we really don?t want these Diary writers to be moderators on the entire bulletin board, just their own thread. Thoughts? |
