Man,
Fitness is so easy to promote. Make flyers + post them at various places + word of mouth + etc, etc. Post them near GNC or other health food stores, but make sure that you write a catch headliner. Fitness is easy, but you have to be able to demonstrate that you know a thing or two about the topic. Most health food store personnel are total idiots, so, you post flyers in and around places catering to fitness, but with an attention grabbing headline such as "Are your supplements safe?" or "Most supplements are not FDA approved!" There are other things I could tell you, but then again, I have a board that I'm trying to promote myself, hint hint.... ![]() But you get the idea... Read about advertising, psychology, marketing, internet dynamics and the like... Hope this helps... P.S. I used to be a personal trainer (certified). Here's a another tip, go to a gym, bally's L.A. Fitness, 24hr fitness or all the gyms you can think of... Get a day pass or weekly pass to "test out the gym"... But make sure you wear your forum's name and title on your shirt, hat, beanie... and work out or stand in areas where people can see you... OR... work out and talk to someone or talk to a lot of people and tell them that you needed fitness advice and were very lost about fitness at one point in time.....and now, you found a great forum (Insert your forum here) and tell them how cool it is... I could go on and on, but as the saying goes, if I tell you everything, then it's not a secret anymore... No offense, I hope I was able to sincerely help you! Oh yes, get vbseo and also, when you tell people about your forum, do not tell them you are the administrator, tell them you are a member. Dont tell them about Adsense , even if you have it on display. All this should help, if you need more questions answered or advice, please stop by at my place.... Every now and then, I share a secret.... Good luck and welcome to the "family of vbforum admins and hackers!" Oh yeah, one last thing... At all times, well, most of the times, make sure you know what you are talking about! Express yourself clearly-- orally if you have to and written when you make posts! Laters ![]() |
