Not sure if this has been done before, but if it has please forward the info. My idea for a mod is to automatically create a new thread in a Welcome Forum each time a new user registers. Similar to the welcome email, the thread could say something like "Blank.com welcomes Username to the forum".

I think this would be a great way to encourage new registrants to engage in discussions if they are formally introduced to the board.

Got a newer version of this as when you import it.. The product doesn't get shown in the admincp
