How do I Automate Testing?
Are there any tools that allow me to automate testing for a vbulletin mod/hack?
Basically, I want to be able to determine what versions of vbulletin are compatible with a new mod/hack that I'm working on. The hack is pretty extensive, and vbulletin has so many configuration options that may affect the hack, that testing every option is much too time consuming. I basically want to test for every combination of permissions for forums and users and simulate posting by users, over time, and seeing the effect the cron jobs have (so I'll probably also need a way to "speed up" time so that these automated tasks occur faster). Are there any tools for doing this or would it require something custom? Thanks. -minboost |

Yes, automated testing tools exist, and they cost a lot of money.
