autoreply auto-reply to a thread in a specific forum?

I may have missed it in my searches, but is there a way to have the forums "autoreply" to a post in a specific forum.

For example, I have a classifieds forum where members can post an item for sale, but other member's can't repsond to the post.

I'd like to have the forum post a reply to each classified ad that is posted with a little reminder that they need to contact the seller via PM or email.

If that doesn't work, is there a way I can do a conditional for that specific forum to put a big box under the posts just in that forum that tells people how to respond to the seller?
