[img] tag disable per user
Is there anyway that we can disable the img tag by user and not by forum. I dont want to take away the feature from everyone, just some people who overuse it ...
Thanks. |

How good are you at coding? I have similar code running on my site, but you would have to configure it yourself. I can post it if you want it. Its done via usergroups and simply looks for an blocks the code [IMG] or [img]

I should be able to configure it. Any help or starting point would be great. Thanks.

Take a look at this code. Keep in mind that I'm not a coder, but it DOES indeed work.

ok, ill disect it and see wassup...thanks again mate
ok so I created a new usergroup(based it off registered users) and then changed the forum ids in the plugin to match that id. I then went to the member i wanted to disallow and put him in this group as a secondary. However, he can still post an image....using the img tag....did i do something wrong? Ok...nevermind, it works if the usergroup is the primary group. So pretty much made a new usergroup EXACTLY the same as registered user and applied it to that group....works great.... Peace |

hmmm, not sure why it doesn't work as a secondary group. I'll take a look at in a few here.
edit: actually I think I may know why. |
