I have tried this before...and yes it works fine...

But it doesn´t really hide the referrer url... it just hide the thread where the link was posted.
It will be displayed as referer "http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/links.php?"

This isn´t enough for me, I want to hide the source completly, and for this the modification I have posted above is perfect.
