How can I update user details using the data manager?

Hi,

How can I update a forum users details using the user datamanager? I have manged to use the datamanager to add a new user but I can find a way to update and exiting users details, for example change their email address.

I need to do this because I am integrating my site with the forums and I essentially want the two user records to mirror each other. For example when a user updates his account details via my site I want to be able to also update his forum user account via my own php script.

Also is it possible to delete users using datamanagers?

Any help would be much appreciated.
