EDIT>>: HEY! I figured it out. It wasn't the footer after all, Peter! I forgot about Cascading style sheets being a potential variable! Duuuhhhhh!!!!

The original grafs at the bottom were like 256pixels in height, and I replaced them with grafs that are only 82. Because the style's CSS said 256pixels, the page kept loading to make room for three 256 pixel-sized grafs, and as a result, the huge gap. A quick change from 256 into 82 in the css, and BAM, problem solved. Jeez. I'm so retarded.

If anyone ever has trouble like this, I hope my ignorance into enlightenment situation here will save you a headache or two.

PS: Say, you don't know what part of the footer I can edit to put my Style Chooser box in that little space between the VBulletin copyright stuff and my Contact Us/Admin Panel/etc bar, do ya? No biggie, but that would be great to have everything centered at the bottom.
