I just received notification that the community bulletin add-on commbull has been pulled and the developer recommends NOT using it due to security concerns. This is really upsetting because I just installed it last month and spent two days customizing the look and content of the html bulletins.
I've been searching for something similar to commbull that I can use to send out newsletters that contains info such as new topics, new replies, new members, posts with no replies yet, etc, etc. I thought commbull was brilliant and I'm really sorry to see it go. Any suggestions? Thanks, Andrew |

I also see an immediate result as well. I wish vB would add it to the forums.

Yeah, I'm really missing this and have been putting off sending any newsletters with the hopes that someone would come up with an alternative.
Is there any other to at least generate a similar list of recent posts, hot topics, topics without replies, etc? If I could do this much maybe I could just copy it into a newsletter, even without the hotlinks. Thanks, Andrew |
