I just upgraded to v3.6 from v3.5.4, scripts ran great looks like a good upgrade. I reverted all custom templates but I still have a problem.
Users who were banned previously are no longer banned, and are causing trouble on the forum. In the user profile I can add them to the "Banned User" group and Save, although it no effect on what happens on the forum front end. So how do you ban a user with the new version? Thanks! |

I'd try banning their ips vs their usernames.

Moving them to Banned has worked well for me. You may need to check the powers that your Banned User Group has. Also you can go into Admin CP, vbulletin options, user banning options, and add their IP to that which will make it so their IPs cannot access the site. You can also set their e-mails in there so they can't use that same e-mail to access it.
