Removing gallery but saving images

I am currently running vb 3.54 and I have vBgallery 2.1 installed. I want to uninstall the gallery [reason because of its take over from advaced and expired access to the new site - which means it may not run with 3.6]

If - I uninstall it, where do my images go? can I export/save just the images somewhere else (dunno where I'm hopeless at this stuff). I don't have $40 to renew to a site that I didn't even choose to deal with.

I was thinking maybe of something like coppermine as a temp gallery, But I don't know how to import just the images and data from the gallery (does that make sense?)

Can anyone give me some advice, or a basic idea of the steps to take?
Secondly can anyone recommend a gallery that works with VB
Thirdly can I "legally" sell my vb gallery even though my member area access has expired?.

p.s I know I can save each image one by one to my computer, but I don't have hours and hours to do that lol.
